(Seniors!)
As second semester seniors, many of us have blogged about the struggle that has become our daily routine- from the early mornings, to filling out worksheets that seem to serve no purpose, to the tight schedule, many of us are starting to count down our remaining days as seniors (I believe 46 days?) So, in order to combat this epidemic, I’ve decided to list a few ways to keep the energy up on our last leg of high school:
- Switch Schedules with a Friend- If you happen to have a friend who looks very similar to you, try swapping classes for the day. A new routine will help make school exciting and different!
- Take A Different Route- Everyone has certain paths they travel throughout the day. Try switching it up and switch how you get to class; you may run into some friends you haven’t seen in awhile or meet someone new!
- Scare a Freshman- We only have so much time left as “top dogs” of the school. It’s not too late to surprise a freshman with any one of a variety of techniques, from de-booking to nugging to just making them uncomfortable.
- Share Your Wisdom- After four years in the building and twelve years in the district, we have a fairly good understanding of how the “system” works. Spend your day giving helpful advice to the younger grades, from how to do well with a certain teacher to which classes are most beneficial to take.
- Enjoy Yourself!- For some, embracing senioritis may be the best cure. Enjoy some well-earned time with friends and put energy into things you have a passion for instead of accepting the monotony.
